Haiku chain !!

Ok, I saw this once on a Taoist forum and I thought it was awesome.

So, first of all I am going to be captain obvious and tell you all what a haiku poem is: A haiku poem is a poem that traditionally has 17 syllables, line one has 5 syllables, line 2 has 7 syllables and line 3 has 5 syllables.

For our haiku chain use the last line of the previous poem as the first line of your poem.

Be creative, let it flow, haiku's don't have to be about anything, but they can mean so much.

I will start things off:

Life teaches all things
Relax your thoughts and listen
May your mind be spring

May your mind be spring
Your body sound and relaxed
To see more than death

To see more than death
The answer lies before you
Now who wants cheesecake?

(I know, I'm terrible at haiku)

so yummy and delicious
but i dont share food!

(I suck!)

But I don't share food
When hunger now still exists
Because I stay blind

Because I stay blind
I fail to see what the fuck
Is going on here

(did i mention i suck in poetry?)
(also, is "going" 1 syllable or 2? if itz only 1, imagine the last line saying "Is going on right here")

Is going on here
May not be happening there
Still we both feel it

[Going has 2 syllables, "Go-ing", and it's ok ^^ poetry is something with practice, and there is a personal style in everyone's type of poetry.]

Autumn leaves do fall

So far, I love all the haiku's !! and as far as I know there is no bad haiku. I think they are best when totally spontaneous and almost nonsensical. They tend to come together in the end

Noone is there...

Of Diaper Grapes

(i bet i did sumthing wrong im so bad in splitting words up into syllables)

Of diaper grapes
Festering in dark places
Rhythm in the light

(rina, I think diaper is a tough one, in english it would probably have only 2 syllables, but, haiku is like the tango, if you mess up you just tango on )

we are warriors of legend!
so wise, so mighty!

we are the victorious band
ride off to the horizon!

(hope that sounds ok, not good at this stuff )
